Shipping Policy
Thank you for visiting and shopping at the Little Truck Bookshop. We operate and deliver exclusively within the United Kingdom.

1. Shipment Processing Time
We process all orders within 1-2 business days.
  • Orders are not processed or shipped on weekends or UK bank holidays.
  • If we experience a high volume of orders, shipments may be delayed by a few days.
  • If there is a significant delay in the shipment of your order, we will contact you immediately via email. 

2. Shipping Rates and Delivery Estimates
We ship all of our book orders using Royal Mail. Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout: 
  • Standard Delivery (Royal Mail 2nd Class):
    • Delivery time: 3-5 business days from dispatch.
    • Cost: £4.99 (Free for orders over £50).
  • Express Delivery (Royal Mail 1st Class):
    • Delivery time: 1–2 business days from dispatch.
    • Cost: £6.99
  • Orders of £50.00 and over: Free Standard Shipping.
Please note that delivery timelines are estimates and commence from the date of dispatch, not the date of order.

3. Delivery Exclusions & Remote Areas
We deliver to all addresses across England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland.
  • Delivery to remote areas (such as the Scottish Highlands and Islands, Isle of Man, and Scilly Isles) may take an additional 1–2 business days, subject to Royal Mail delivery schedules.
  • We do not ship to international addresses or PO Boxes.
5. Damaged Items in Transit

We take great care in packaging our books securely to ensure they arrive in perfect condition.
  • If you receive an item that has been damaged during transit, please contact us immediately at littletruckbookshop@gmail.com
  • Please retain all packaging materials and the damaged goods, and include a photograph of the damage in your email so we can resolve the issue swiftly for you.
